Looking for a custom painting?
I complete commissions throughout the year. Get your own impressionist landscape tailored to your space. Read on to learn more about the process and get your vision started.
Begin the process:
Inspiration - Is it a painting of mine that has inspired you, a photograph, a design look you want? This is where we brainstorm color palettes and atmosphere. Providing me with photos or the space or the landscape, color swatches, even a Pinterest board will help us make your vision come to be a reality!
Size - All pieces are completed on artist quality wood panels with professional quality oil pastels. This is where you pick the size. Try masking tape to outline the possible painting sizes. If you are unsure we can discuss this what’s best for you.
Sketches and Timeline - 2-3 Small oil pastel works on paper will be completed based on our discussion about your inspiration, space, and colour schemes. Will will review these together to make sure we all on the same page. Once I have your approval, the one-of-a-kind painting begins. From this point it will be about 10-12 weeks to completion (longer during holiday seasons).
Pricing - Pricing for commissioned pieces is typically 10% more than pieces out of my collections. This factors in the time spent to help create your vision together. I ask for 50% deposit to begin, with the balance plus shipping due once you painting is completed. I will send you a photograph of the completed piece at this point.
